The main objective of this program is to alleviate tensions among these groups and promote peace and reconciliation in the region. In this context, the perspective of communication science plays a crucial role in bridging the perceptual gaps that exist between the community and the Poso government. Through this research, the researcher describes and analyzes the communication network structure and the roles of actors in seeking information about the deradicalization program. This communication network research adopts a descriptive approach. Primary data was collected through interviews with actors involved in the deradicalization program. The data was then coded based on the frequency of communication among the actors. The processing and visualization of the communication network were conducted using UCINET.The research finds that the formed communication networks indicate a relatively optimal level of communication, especially among the implementing groups and participants of the deradicalization program. In the post-conflict Poso deradicalization program, both Islamic and Christian sides have influential figures who can serve as role models for the community in eradicating the seeds of conflict that can always resurface. Hasrullah Hasrullah Nosakros Arya Copyright (c) 2024 Hasrullah Hasrullah 2024-06-09 2024-06-09 9 1 1 13 10.25008/jkiski.v9i1.800 Marketing and Personal Branding of Anies Baswedan as Presidential Candidate by NasDem Party in Digital Space https://mail.jurnal-iski.or.id/index.php/jkiski/article/view/799 The purpose of this study is to see the phenomenon of political marketing, especially how the online mass media builds Anies Baswedan’s branding as a presidential candidate. The branding of presidential candidate serves as a phenomenon of Indonesian national politics particularly when NasDem Party declared Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate on October 3, 2022. The methodology of this study uses qualifiers, and the technique of analysis and data analysis uses Nvivo12 plus mainly in online media reporting in Indonesia (CNN, Kompas, Media Indonesia, and Detik.com). The results of this study showed that the four media outlets were actively reporting on the nomination of Anies as a presidential candidate. The massive reporting put Anies' personal electability ahead of other political opponents. The identification is based on the analysis of content about Anies in the four online media outlets. In terms of quantity, Media Indonesia more actively reported on Anes’ candidacy than the other three media outlets. This is because of power polarization relationship in terms of ownership relationship between NasDem Party and Media Indonesia. Thus, the news frame leans towards Anies and indirectly it can be used for marketing and branding politics. Muhammad Hazim Khabir Suswanta Suswanta Ridho Al-hamdi Copyright (c) 2024 Muhammad Hazim Khabir, Suswanta Suswanta, Ridho Al-hamdi 2024-06-09 2024-06-09 9 1 14 21 10.25008/jkiski.v9i1.799 Participatory Communication Model Based on Local Wisdom in Ecotourism of West Detusoko Village https://mail.jurnal-iski.or.id/index.php/jkiski/article/view/934
Sustainable ecotourism development needs participation, participatory communication, and local wisdom. This situation forces digital transformation in many aspects of living, including health care. Helathtech then becomes a choice. This study explores Healthech in Indonesia with situation and organization analysis and provides a database for future research. A qualitative approach with secondary digital data is applied. The result shows twelve healthcare providers with different care focuses in Indonesia. They inform their service online through the official website and social media. Social media is also a means to build engagement with the audience, customer, and target market. Therefore, social media has become a marketing and public relations channel. Furthermore, there is a concern about data security regarding digital trace that opens in big data. Healthtech is called to take measures to ensure transparency and security of the data collected and to respect users' privacy. Protecting personal data produced and collected in this context must be ensured. Users must, therefore, be informed of the security procedures. To complete the data, we conducted in-depth interviews with the chief of editor/content director of TCID. We also conducted an extensive review of current literature. This paper finds that most of the science articles reported by TCID uses 3 component arguments, namely the philosophical component, the empirical component, and the practical component. This shows that the authors only have a degree of wanting to form knowledge at a moderate level. Other data shows not all writers present predictive arguments in themselves. Only 80% of authors present predictive arguments. We argue that science journalism practiced by TCID is not passionate about building knowledge among its readers. It has not succeeded in promoting Indonesian science journalism as a means of forming readers' knowledge. Therefore, strong efforts are needed to ensure that science journalism can ground research results that shape readers' knowledge. Ana Nadhya Abrar I Gusti Ngurah Putra Adam Wijoyo Sukarno Desmalinda Desmalinda Mirfath Mirfath Copyright (c) 2024 Ana Nadhya Abrar 2024-06-09 2024-06-09 9 1 71 81 10.25008/jkiski.v9i1.973 Zillennials, Social Media and Artificial Intelligence: A Survey on West Java’s Digital Natives https://mail.jurnal-iski.or.id/index.php/jkiski/article/view/958 Today’s rapid digital and artificial intelligence development has a significant impact on the lives of generation Z, also known as Zillennials. This research aims at 3 things: First, to inform the importance of internalizing the Pancasila values among the younger generation to welcome the 2024 election; Second, to instill Pancasila values in the younger generation in responding to currently developing political dynamics; Third, to strengthen implementation of Pancasila values in political ethics by socializing them among the younger generation to realize peaceful elections in 2024. The mixed method used for this research is quantitative data collection, using qualitative descriptive techniques with text analysis. The distribution of questionnaires conducted directly and online is based on the theory of social reality construction, with the concept of internalization being the focus. This research shows 3 things: First, the younger generation received information regarding the importance of internalizing Pancasila values in creating peaceful elections in 2024. Second, researchers succeeded in socializing the effort to instil Pancasila values in the younger generation in responding to political dynamics in the 2024 elections. While existing studies often concentrate on interpersonal communication in healthcare, this research explores the reciprocal development of reflexive action and interpretation during MRI training in Indonesian hospitals, employing the Coordinated Management of Meaning (CMM) Theory and integrating intercultural communication obstacles. Employing participatory observation, key informant interviews, and focus group discussions, the study unveils that trainers employ both verbal and non-verbal communication, including orientation, empathy, and dynamic interactions. The results highlight reciprocal, proactive communication strategies between trainers and trainees, emphasizing mindfulness, emotional vulnerability mitigation, honest communication, and the cultivation of functional behaviors. This research contributes not only to health communication literature, particularly MRI training but also advances practical insights into intercultural communication research.
Syafiq Basri Assegaff Eunike Serfina Fajarini Noprita Herari Amalia Setiawati Copyright (c) 2024 Noprita Herari 2024-06-23 2024-06-23 9 1 211 225 10.25008/jkiski.v9i1.1010 Employee Involvement in Internal Communication Activities PT.
